Snowball Cookies
1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) of butter softened
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups flour
Powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 375. Beat butter, sugar, vanilla and salt. Gradually beat in flour. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place on baking sheet.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Sprinkle powdered sugar over cookies on baking pan. Remove to wire rack. Sprinkle with additional powdered sugar when cooled if desired.
