because tv sucks and I should probably check in ...

so, anyway .... haven't checked in here or in any of your places lately ... yes, well, I have no excuse ... just wanted to say that I am aware of my ignoring this whole blogging situation....

I did take Collin to the doctor. The result ... put him on mineral oil for 6 months and you may want to consider putting him back in pull ups. Good times. I get that the main concern, at this point, is getting him to actually DO his business and not WHERE it is that he does it.

Also, on Saturday night we went out. With out Collin. With other people. At a bar. And I did shots for the first time in 8 years. Eight years. But truly the most important point is we had a "real babysitter" ... as in, not family or a close friend. An upcoming 7th grader that lives down the street. It all worked out fine, Collin cant wait for her to come back and of course it DOUBLES the amount of money you spend on your evening out but seriously.... its worth EVERY PENNY!

Oh wait ... that wasn't the most important thing .... the fact that I woke up the next morning with out a screaming headache was a major thing. Major.

Kidding, no hangover does not trump finding a babysitter. Or does it?

I tried to watch the confirmation hearing this morning about that judge, whose name I wont even try to spell. Talk about just a time for Senators to talk and be on camera. Boring.

We're leaving for 10 days on Saturday. I haven't even begun to think about getting ready for that yet. I did buy a really cute shirt at Target today though, so there's that.

Clearly I have nothing important to say! Do you? Do I need to go check out your blog right now??

Of course you should go look at my blog right this second. It is always full of fascinating stuff. Or not. Whatever.

My oldest child did not use the toilet until she was 4 1/2 years old! She would wear underwear before that, but she would just hold it (#1 and #2). The doctor told us to put her back in diapers before she made herself sick. We did. It felt like forever, but she finally decided to go on her own.

Have fun on your trip. Yea for cute shirts. I don't do shots b/c it would make me sick in about two minutes flat.

Landon has gone from every other day to every 4 days...it scares the bejeebus out of me. My pediatrician suggested miralax...I tried it, and I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT! Talk about gross and bad results.

Good deal about the babysitter!

Yes. I got published. That's news! And paid for it. Even better news. Quick. Read all about it, and rush out and buy the magazine.

Congratulations on the no hangover. Very clever.

My daughter is autistic, and wasn't potty trained until she was five years old. My son, with an IQ of a genius, refused to be potty trained until he was nearly three years old. The school system where my daughter attended reported me for not trying harder to potty train her, saying I was negligent. Well, guess what, she wasn't ready. She just didn't get it. When she finally did, she suddenly hated the diaper and afterwards didn't have a single accident. Kids develop at different times and at different levels. It's called individualism. Don't worry about it. If he's still pooping in his pants at 17, start worrying.

Having a babysitter totally trumps not having a hangover. Bonus that C wants her to come back!

I've been neglecting my blog lately but did post today!
